Mr. Abney is a litigation attorney practicing in civil, criminal, and family law matters.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, and the Maryland Association for Justice (formerly the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association).  He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, graduating magna cum laude.  He then attended the University of Maryland School of Law, where he earned his Juiris Doctorate.  He is admitted to practice in Washington D.C., the state courts of Maryland, and the U.S. Federal District Courts of Maryland.                                                             Greg Abney

After graduating from law School, Mr. Abney went to work for a firm located in Montgomery County, Maryland.  After working for the firm for some time, he decided to pursue his own passion and he open his own practice.  He opened his original office in Rockville, Maryland and has since expanded to Columbia, Maryland.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Abney was a member of the U.S. Army and stationed at several army bases in the U.S. and for several years in the Pacific.  After his military service, and while attending school, Mr. Abney worked for a multinational private sector corporation as a product coordinator in tactical marketing.  It is this previous experience that Mr. Abney credits for his understanding of professions and occupations outside of the legal arena.  This understanding, he believes, allows him to provide high quality legal representation to many of his clients.
